Punk Rock Entrepreneur: Running a Business without Losing Your Values by Caroline Moore

The Princess Diarist by Carrie Fisher

The Exorcist by William Peter Blatty

The Good House by Tananarive Due

#marchmood is apparently spooky as hell.

I’ve started The Exorcist already– the writing is beautiful.

The Good House and The Princess Diarist are both new releases. I’m going to double-feature The Exorcist and The Good House and follow them with Diarist as a palate cleanser because I’m sure I’ll have scared myself witless.

Finishing up with Punk Rock Entrepreneur, a tiny book that will hopefully help me continue on my road to independent bookstore ownership. Speaking of which, I hope you’ve heard about Noelle Santos, The Lit Bar, and the Bring a Goddamn Bookstore to the Bronx crowdfunding campaign. I threw what little cash I could towards her campaign, knowing every little bit does help. The project (now fully funded) will help start The Lit Bar. The Bronx, a borough with more than 1.4 MILLION people, has no bookstore. Bookstores are vital to communities and Santos, a Bronx native, had the idea to bring one back to the neighborhood. I’m so excited to watch this project unfold– and taking notes for my own future plans.
